The consumption of alcoholic beverages mixed with energy drinks (ED) has been a growing public health issue. Caffeine, one of the main components of ED, mixed with ethanol (EtOH) increases locomotor activity when administered in a non-contingent way, but there are few data on its effects on ethanol sensitization during contingent exposure.
