Resumo

Beta-caryophyllene (BCP) is already well known in the literature for its anti-inflammatory effects via activation of cannabinoid type 2 receptors (CB2R) present in the Immune System. However, more recently, these receptors have been found in central neurons. Thus, the investigation of possible behavioral effects induced by RCB2 imprinting has generated much contradiction.
