An Eulerian-Eulerian CFD model for a gas-particulate fluidized bed with Geldart-D particles has been implemented in the commercial software ANSYS Fluent. Time series of pressure drop were analyzed at the minimum fluidization condition, allowing the study of the system dynamic characteristics by application of the spectral analysis on both simulated and experimental results. The results showed agreement between experimental and simulated power spectrum density, representing an important role in the study of dynamical systems.
