Application and development of continuous flow processes in the synthesis of fentanylic opioids.
Abstract: Organic synthesis in continuous flow had become a powerful tool in the mid- and large-scale production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and their intermediaries. In this context, this work aims for the synthesis of APIs scaffolds and precursors with the development of continuous flow protocols in the preparation of opioids of the Fentanyl class, an important family of analgesics used in the management of pain in diverse conditions, including cancer.
Desenvolvimento e aplicação de processos em fluxo contínuo na síntese de opioides fentanílicos.
Resumo: A Síntese Orgânica em fluxo contínuo tem se mostrado uma ferramenta poderosa no sentido de produzir, em média e larga escala, intermediários e ingredientes farmacologicamente ativos (IFAs) em espaço reduzido. Neste contexto, o presente trabalho se concentra na busca da síntese de arcabouços precursores de IFAs por meio do desenvolvimento de protocolos em fluxo contínuo no preparo de opióides da classe das fentanilas, importantes medicamentos utilizados no manejo da dor relacionada a diversas condições, incluindo o câncer.
