The lack of prepared workers has become an increasingly evident problem, hindering the growth of companies and affecting competitiveness in different sectors. Among the factors that explain this scenario are the mismatch between what the educational system offers and what the market really needs, the speed with which technology evolves, and the absence of consistent public policies that encourage professional training. Another important point is that many companies still find it difficult to develop internal training programs, which ends up increasing the lack of professionals with the necessary skills for their operations. The study also draws attention to the need to create work environments that encourage continuous learning, value merit and offer real prospects for career growth. These practices are essential not only to retain professionals already hired, but also to attract new talent. Thus, by analyzing the impacts of labor shortages and proposing strategies to face this challenge, the survey seeks to contribute to companies and managers adopting more effective actions, capable of strengthening the labor market and preparing the country for current economic and technological changes.
