Abstract

This systematic review analyzes the reuse of electrostatic painting waste with powder paint, highlighting its environmental and economic impacts. The problem involves the significant generation of industrial solid waste, often disposed of inappropriately. The study is justified by the absence of systematizations that consolidate sustainable reuse practices. Using the PRISMA protocol, 13 articles were selected between 1998 and 2024, classified into four categories: reuse technologies, waste characterization, impacts, and management. The results indicate that, although there are promising technical solutions, few have been applied in industrial environments. The lack of integration between economic, environmental and operational indicators was also identified. It is concluded that powder paint waste has the potential for reuse in different sectors, contributing to industrial sustainability and the training of conscious professionals.
