Thus, the study aims to identify in the literature what are the main interventions performed by psychology professionals in cases of hospital bereavement. The research is a systematic review, carrying out a bibliographic survey in the VHL, PubMed, Pepsic, Scielo and CAPES Periodicals, between the months of July and August 2025. The descriptors "Hospital psychology" and "Grief" were combined using the Boolean operator AND. Studies that dealt with psychology interventions in the treatment process of patients in the hospital or family were included, and studies that did not mention psychology as part of multidisciplinary work or that did not address the perspective of the psychology of grief were excluded. A total of 127 productions were identified and 18 were selected to compose the sample. The main interventions observed are the offer of psychological and emotional support, the offer of a safe and welcoming space, active listening and emotional support, in addition to the training of teams on topics such as death and mourning. Thus, the importance of this professional in situations of intense emotional impact such as hospital grief is undoubted, but it is still necessary to expand this debate and invest in research on the subject.
