These conditions present specific and complex nutritional challenges that demand continuous specialized monitoring, often compromised by access barriers and fragmented communication with health professionals. The proposed platform will integrate a digital communication system (chat and video conferencing), specialized virtual assistants based on AI to answer frequent nutritional questions, and a structured repository for storing and viewing clinical and nutritional data. The methodology included requirements gathering based on medical and nutritional guidelines, architectural creation, and faithful prototyping of the system interfaces. The screens for the nutritionist and patient include the possibility of adding and monitoring information crucial to the treatment, such as the use of medications, supplements, and personal preferences and restrictions, thereby enabling the artificial intelligence to refine the recommendations. The project foresees the implementation of AI as a means to assist nutritionists and patients, in accordance with LGPD (General Data Protection Law) compliance. In summary, the system will be a suitable tool for maintaining control over clinical parameters, preserving and improving metabolic control, and increasing treatment adherence for patients with these conditions through simplified prevention.
