ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
- To submit your poster, it is necessary to have completed registration.
- Limited to 2000 characters.
- Abstracts should be written in English and follow a structured format containing: Background, Methods, Results and Conclusions.
- Present the research question, rationale, and whether the study is exploratory or confirmatory.
- Should include list all authors’ names and affiliations (not included on characters counting).
- Indicate the presenting author by underlining their name.
- Include 3-5 keywords that highlight the main topics or themes of the research (not included on characters counting).
- Deadline for abstract submission for pôster presentation is April, 19th 2024.
- Late submissions will not be considered.
- If the abstract is accepted, prepare a poster presentation to showcase the research findings.
- Registration for the symposium is required prior to abstract submission.
- Material included in the presentation of the abstract must be substantively identical to that described in the abstract.
- The title, authorship, and scientific content of the presentation at the event must match that in the abstract.
YOUNG SCIENTIST LECTURE
Distinguished young investigators will be selected to perform oral presentations of their work during the V Symposium Frontiers in Neuroscience. Awarded investigators will be granted with their stay at Atlantico Buzios Hotel during the period of the meeting.
It is not mandatory to have completed registration to make the submission.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Up to 5 years after the year the doctoral degree was awarded (at the time of application);
- Candidates must not be recipients of FAPERJ Young Scientist of our State Fellowships or of CNPq Productivity Fellowships;
Dates and documents:
The deadline for receiving applications is 15th April 2024 at 23:59 BRT.
To apply, candidates must submit their application with:
1) A short abstract of your proposed 10 minutes talk.
2) A copy of the applicant’s CV.
3) A short letter of intention, describing the focus of the research being conducted by the applicant and how participation in the workshop will contribute to the development of your research and/or training.
4) A short letter of support from the Laboratory Supervisor or the Head of Department.
