This work is a first study to identify a mechanical mechanism to simulate the brontosaurus walk with the objective of developing a similar mechanical brontosaurus. The movement starts with a rotation motors in which the movement is transformed into the brontosaurus walking movement. At the same time this engine rotation causes movement in the tail with the purpose of stabilization of the walk. The study is performed in the software Linkage Mechanism Designer version 3.8.1 - 2018 - 64 bit. The study shows that the mechanims mimics the brontosaurus walking forward only changing the steps frequency, the other caractheristics are the same.
