Depending on the computational mesh size, the numerical convergence can place a significant burden on the time frame of the CFD analysis. The current work aims to investigate the application of Richardson Extrapolation (RE) method as an alternative for reducing the computational time. Extrapolated results seems to be promising to keep accuracy at lower cost. However, attention to the quality of previous results applied in the analysis is an issue.
