Resumo

Analyzing flame behavior through numerical modeling is essential for advancing combustion studies. This work presents a numerical study of turbulent premixed hydrogen flame propagation using the STOKES software. The methodology employs Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations with the Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) approach and the Bray-Moss-Libby (BML) combustion model. The primary focus consists of a parametric sensitivity analysis of fundamental terms in the turbulent reaction rate in the BML model: the shape factor, the orientation factor, and the length scale constant. Through an experimental design, the impact of variations in these parameters on flame propagation and speed is analyzed.
