Resumo

Particles migrate due to non-homogeneous shear in flows of Stokesian suspensions. The suspension balance model (SBM) is among the most successful ones in predicting this behavior. This work improved the available SBM code in OpenFOAM by implementing a better viscosity model, a frame-independent calculation of the stress tensor and a better interpolation scheme.
