Resumo

In gas-liquid two-phase flows, the slug flow pattern is present in a large number of engineering applications. Due to its importance, better comprehension of the flow around Taylor bubbles is required for the advancement of better engineering models for the design and operation of gas-liquid two-phase flow equipment and applications.
Along these lines, this work presents the comparison of experimental and numerical results of the velocity field around air Taylor bubbles rising in water.
