This study presents the Synthesis and Spectroscopic Characterization of orange Luminescent Nb2O5 Quantum Dots, with an approximate size of 3.5 nm. Synthesized by thermal treatments and a surface reduction using ascorbic acid, creating Nb+4 centers, which allowed to see intervalence transitions in quantum confinement, also it allows for the observation internal conversion energy process during relaxation revealing dual emission luminescence peaks at 586 nm and 637 nm, that are directly related to these mixed-valence centers.
