Yb³⁺/Nd³⁺/Tm³⁺ and Bi³⁺/Yb³⁺/Nd³⁺ doped Y₂Ge₂O₇ nanocrystalline phosphors, synthesized via solid-state reaction, are presented for non-invasive ratiometric temperature sensing. Under 804 nm excitation, these materials exhibit intense emissions suitable for biomedical applications, with Nd³⁺ and Bi³⁺ acting as efficient sensitizers to enhance up-conversion. Temperature-dependent studies within the 20 °C to 60 °C range indicate moderate absolute (Sa) and relative (Sr) sensitivities based on luminescence intensity ratios (LIR) of stark sublevels.
