Abstract

We present the catalytic oxidation of benzyl alcohol (BnOH) mediated by the [Fe(bpmamff)Cl2] (1) complex anchored in Fe3O4@SiO2-NH2 magnetic nanoparticles, through a multivariate analysis approach, in which the variables (catalyst concentration and time) are evaluated simultaneously for the heterogeneous medium. The metal complex was characterized according to what has already been described in the literature while each step of the magnetic nanoparticles preparation was followed by TEM, powder DRX and DLS techniques.
