Abstract

The abstract reports the synthesis and characterization of three novel homopentadecanuclear lanthanide clusters, {Ln15} (Ln = Gd3+, Tb3+ or Dy3+), which were obtained by adding a slightly acidic solution of Ln(ClO4)3 to a strongly alkaline solution of L-histidine.
