The cerrado has a great biodiversity, but has been used in an erroneous way bringing the loss of innumerable plant species of great importance to society and also according to KLINK & MOREIRA (2002) fire in the cerrado areas due to dry matter and few only exacerbates the situation. In the municipality of Sidrolândia, in Mato Grosso do Sul, it is no different. Areas of land that are unfit for use are intended for agrarian reform. But the process of Agrarian Reform in Brazil, is far from being a successful project, since people from various parts of Brazil are settled in these spaces without the minimum of instruction and technical assistance. This article presents the results of the partnership actions between public universities and agrarian reform farmers, in the municipality of Sidrolândia, in the management of natural resources, from resources available in the degraded environment, while restoring the native medicinal flora of the region. Three lots of the Nazareth Settlement Project were chosen, in the municipality where Sidrolândia-MS, agroecological methods were used throughout the process. As a result there was an exchange of knowledge among all the people involved. The environment has begun a rapid recovery process. In an area covered by grass Brachiaria sp., In three months they already showed the primary herbs, with many flowers. In the second trimester native trees began to be born in the same space. A year later, seeds of native fruits of the cerrado were introduced in strategic places as well as plants with medicinal potential, indicated by the raizeiros. In the same space, respecting each developed system, seedlings of fruit with commercial interest were introduced, as well as plants of annual crops like maize, rice and beans. The Integrated System for Ecosystem Recovery from Medicinal Plants and Agricultural Production brought a significantly greater development in relation to areas without the presented management. According to MONTIBELLER FILHO (2001), eco-development presupposes a solidarity synchronous with the present peoples, insofar as it shifts the focus from the logic of production to the view of the basic needs of the population; and a diachronic solidarity, expressed in the economy of natural resources and the ecological perspective to guarantee the possibility of quality of life for the next generations. It is the definition of a new Principle of Responsibility inherent in environmentalism [...]. In the year 2017, the planting areas have already increased, bringing a different perspective to this environment, a vision of profitability combined with the restoration of the ecosystem. This action showed that the actions developed generated sustainability.
