About

The Meeting on Self-Assembly Structures in Solution and at Interfaces (AutoOrg) is a traditional scientific meeting in Brazil, that brings together well-known experts from around the world, working with colloidal systems and self-organizing structures in solution and interfaces. The event provides a forum for discussion of cutting-edge research and recent breakthroughs opening avenues for scientists from different backgrounds to brainstorm and promote collaborations, as observed in the successful previous editions.
For the present meeting, some innovations were introduced. A Minicourse on the Characterization of Self-Organized Nanometric Structures was carried out in advance for about 40 undergraduate and graduate students. And, to encourage the participation of young researchers. A round table Meet the Editors will discuss the most important aspects related to the publication of impact research, promoted by the Royal Society of Chemistry, ACS Omega, and Elsevier. These important organizations will also offer cash prizes for outstanding papers.
The event program includes Plenary and Invited Lectures by foreign and Brazilian speakers and poster presentations to incentive simultaneous discussions.
