EFEITO DA ADUBAÇÃO FOSFATADA NO DESENVOLVIMENTO DO CAPIM-PIATÃ EM DOIS TIPOS DE SOLO

The objective of this study was to evaluate the development of piatã grass submitted to increasing doses of phosphorus in two types of soil. A completely randomized design was used, with treatments in 6 x 2 factorial arrangement, corresponding to the application of ammonium phosphate (0, 60, 120, 240, 360 and 480 mg/dm³ of P2O5) and soil types (sandy and medium textures). There was no interaction (P>0.05) between the factors. Phosphorus had an effect (P<0.05) on the number of tillers and the dry mass, which increased as a function of the P rates. The soil type influenced (P<0.05) the height of the plant, the number of tillers and dry mass, with the highest values observed in the soil of medium texture.
