The efficiency of bovine termination systems is directly associated with the correlation between the variables of consumption, performance and carcass. Thus, the objective correlate the consumption and performance with features of carcasses of bovine animals ending in confinement. We used 27 animals confined in individual bays. The experimental period lasted 84 days and was preceded by 21 days of adaptation. The animals were weighed every 28 days during the experimental period. The daily provided was recorded and the leftovers were used to measure the dry matter intake (DMI), the feed conversion (FC), and feed efficiency (FE). The animals were slaughtered using the technique of cerebral concussion and section of the jugular vein. The carcasses were weighed to obtain the warm carcass weight (CW) and calculation of carcass yield (CY). Significant correlation was observed (P<0.05) between the DMI and the average daily gain (ADG), CW, subcutaneous fat thickness (SFT), loin eye area (LEA) e FC. The correlation between ADG and CW was significant, positive and high (P<0.05; 0.87). The FC presented correlation (P<0.05) with the ADG and FE. The characteristics of DMI and ADG correlate with most of the carcass parameters.
