The Body Condition Score (BCS) is an indicator of the body condition of the horses, based exclusively on fat deposition. In foal breeding, it is important to achieve physical development and adequate genetic manifestation. For this, it is interesting that the ECC remains at an ideal level. The present study aimed to evaluate the implications of foal supplementation on interference in the Body Condition Score. Fourteen foals were selected, Brasileiro de Hipismo and crossbread Mangalarga Marchador. The animals were divided in two groups, control group and supplemented group. The deposition of fat and Body Condition Score were measured through palpation of the specific zootechnical regions, in addition to the visualization of the difference of the lateral plane photographs of the animals, concluding the experiment with a total of six months. The results, a mean (p <0.05) was observed for crossbred males Mangalarga Marchador (5,071 ± 0,144) on mestizo horses of Brazilian Horse Riding (4,326 ± 0,086). The nutritional supplement may interfere with the Foal Body Condition Score.
