Resumo

Annona crassiflora Mart. known as araticum, is a fruit belonging to the Cerrado biome. It is much appreciated by the local population and being part of the total income of traditional communities. The fruit is made up of peel, pulp, and seed. There is a growing interest in fully characterizing plant species to minimize waste and establish alternatives for their use. Thus, this work aimed to evaluate the use of different solvents in the elaboration of araticum fingerprints. The fruits were collected in the city of Patos de Minas – MG in the 2020 harvest. Three different extracts were prepared: methanol, water, and methanol-water. The chemical fingerprint analysis was conducted using mass spectrometry with an ambient paper spray ionization source which the source voltage was equal to +4.5 kV (positive mode). It was observed that among the samples, there was a difference between the number of compounds detected. However, the principal component analysis (PCA) showed that, regardless of the solvent, samples remained grouped according to the part of the fruit studied, except for the seed obtained by the methane extract. This seed was closer to the pulp. The grouping of samples was due to the similarities and differences between them according to the ion intensities. The model explained 73.37% of the variance of the experimental data on the effect of using different solvents. Graphically analyzing the main ions responsible for the separation of the samples (positive score) were related to compounds belonging to the classes of alkaloids, acetogenins, and flavonoids. Thus, it is concluded that the solvents were efficient. According to the identified compounds, the full use of the fruit becomes quite promising since different actions related to these chemical classes have been reported in a beneficial way to human health.

Olá Amanda obrigada. Vejo que o período pandêmico foi o maior desafio no desenvolvimento do trabalho, e sim este é um trabalho que está ainda em andamento nós temos algumas etapas a serem desenvolvidas ainda como continuidade 😊
