The use of ionic liquids as additives in the preparation of the supports or immobilization may increase the efficiency of biocatalysts (IB). This study aimed to evaluate the influence of aprotic ionic liquids (AIL) (ethyl (C2min), butyl (C4min) e hexyl (C6min) of 3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethysulphonyl) imid) in the preparation of the hybrid support synthetized hidroxibutirato-co-hidroxivalerato (PHBV) and silica for immobilization the Burkholderia cepacia lipase (BCL) by covalent binding. The yield of immobilization for lipase immobilized onto hybrid support modified with AIL with C2min (114±2%), C4min (171±1%) and C6min (169±3%) were higher than the control (90%). The morphological and physicochemical properties (TG, BET and FTIR) were determined for hybrid support and IB (control and with AIL) with higher yields of immobilization. For immobilized derivates observed by the BET method, the IB (IB-C4min and IB-C6min) on the hybrid supports (HS-C4min and HS-C6min), there was a decrease in the surface area, confirming immobilization of enzyme with in pores of the modified support. A FTIR band was obtained for the silanol groups and amides, demonstrating the efciency of immobilization of BCL. Therefore, the BCL was immobilized successfully in a hybrid support modified, resulting in an improvement in the morphological and physicochemical characteristics of the biocatalysts.
