Imunossensor eletroquímico para detecção indireta da troponina T
The diagnosis of myocardial infarction is based on clinical and electrocardiographic changes, as well as biochemical markers of myocardial injury. Troponin T is highlighted among biomarkers due to high sensitivity, specificity and clinical relevance [1]. Biosensors allow the quantification of biomolecules in real time, in a specific and selective way and the realization of early diagnosis in patients affected by myocardial infarction [2]. This study presents the development of an immunosensor for the detection of troponin T (TnT) using screen-printed graphite electrodes sensitized with anti-TnT antibody and potassium ferrocyanide solution (K4Fe(CN)6.5 mmol.L-1 ) in potassium chloride (KCl, 0.1 mol.L-1 ) as eletrolyte. The blocking solution used was bovine serum albumin (BSA) 0.5%. The analysis was conducted using differential pulse voltammetry. The immunosensor was evaluated using serum of patient affected by myocardial infarction (serum positive) and patient without changes associated with acute coronary syndrome (negative serum) (Figure 1). The results (Figure 1) indicates that the presence of the positive serum causes an increase in the current response when compared for negative serum. The developed immunosensor can be used in real samples and presents potential for the diagnosis of myocardial infarction.
