It is with great enthusiasm that we announce the return of the Brazilian Operations Research Symposium (SBPO) to Minas Gerais, this time in Belo Horizonte. The 58th SBPO, taking place from September 28 to October 1, 2026, arrives at a time of renewal and celebration.

This edition will be a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, forge new connections, and share enriching experiences—all within one of Brazil's most charming destinations.

The 58th SBPO will be organized by the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) and the Federal Center for Technological Education of Minas Gerais (CEFET-MG).

The event will be held at the UFMG School of Engineering, on the Pampulha campus. The program will feature traditional technical sessions, including oral presentations, poster sessions, lectures, and short courses covering topics of interest to the community.
