It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the 50th Annual Meeting of the Brazilian Biophysical Society (SBBf), a special edition celebrating the 90th anniversary of the SBBf, to be held from October 20 to 23, 2026, at the Riale Brisa Barra Hotel, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The meeting will bring together researchers, students, and professionals from Brazil and abroad to discuss the latest advances in biophysics and related fields.

This year’s program features 14 thematic symposia, 5 plenary lectures, and 1 roundtable discussion, covering a broad range of topics in molecular, cellular, and systems biophysics. The event will also include special sessions, poster presentations, and a commemorative program honoring the 90th anniversary of the SBBf, highlighting the society’s historical contributions to scientific progress in Brazil.
