    Interesting!

Publication: Digital literacies and qualified subjectification in language teacher education: resisting digital colonization

Suzana, congratulations on your research. The idea of digital colonization that you present is connected to the idea that I work on in my research, looking at the work of scheduling, prescribing, and the hidden curriculum of big techs for education. It will be nice to be able to talk to you in the next few days.

    Thank you - subjectification

Publication: Digital literacies and qualified subjectification in language teacher education: resisting digital colonization

Thank you for your talk Souzana. I've been using Biesta's theories too - particularly his use of Arendt to discuss the 'risky' subjectification of pupils into new subjectivities and new knowledges, and how datafication that seeks to make education predictable undermines this important educational purpose. I wonder if there is some crossover in our thinking on this - look forward to talking about your work further.
