Abstract

This article is part of an initial research on digital populism and intends to make a conceptual survey of what Minister Alexandre de Moraes brought as Extremist Digital Populism in his thesis presented to the public competition for full professor at USP;  to carry out a content analysis on the titles of the articles published on journalistic websites on three specific dates in 2024 that mentioned this concept brought up in the public speeches by the minister on the dates of January 8, February 28 and May 29; and to conclude with what anthropologist Letícia Cesarino lists about digital populism, since the theme is fundamental to contribute to research in the fields of Journalism and Social Communication .
