Abstract

We investigated the potential for enzymatic inhibition by the fungi Fusarium guttiforme and Phytophthora palmivora metabolites in different media. The correlation between chemical profiles and biological activity identified promising extracts, resulting in the isolation of key compounds, including fusarinolic acid (4), magnesium-fusaric acid complex (5), magnesium-9,10-dehydrofusaric acid complex (6), and haematocin (8).
