Compounds from active extract of Dalbergia miscolobium were identified using LC-HRMS. Some of these compounds show structural similarities to benzoic acid and procyanidin, which have previously shown antimalarial potential. Through bioguided fractionation of the ethyl acetate fraction derived from the stem bark of D. miscolobium, (IC50 = 8.4 ± 0.7 μg/mL), active compounds were isolated. These compounds, namely lupenone, epicatechin, and lupeol, demonstrated activity against Plasmodium falciparum
