Abstract

- Ten compounds were identified for the first time in the Dipteryx lacunifera leaves.
- Flavonoids, steroid and terpenoids were identified
- The hexane fraction and the β-Sitosterol showed high cytotoxic potential (>75% inhibition) against the PC3 strain
- The compound β-Sitosterol showed high potential against the HCT 116 strain
