CAMINOS is an Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education coordinated by OBREAL (Univ. of Barcelona), dedicated to amplifying and improving academic mobility in Latin America. It gathers HEIs from 6 different LA countries (Colombia, Equador, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil) and 4 EU countries (Spain, France, Italy, and Germany), as well as national agencies like ASCUN, CRUCH, or ANDIFES. This workshop would last 3h to 3h30, and include:
1) A presentation of the ‘Guia’ of CAMINOS (a handbook of good practices, in Latin America, regarding Mobility),
2) A presentation of the Brazilian pilot projects (from UFSCAR and UFRGS),
3) Additional presentations for CAMINOS partners on interesting cases/examples related to the Brazilian pilots
4) a discussion with the participants on the pilots, generating feedback.
The last hour could be reserved for a discussion on ‘public policy’, with the possible participation of governmental authorities (from CAPES or SESu), to discuss of the importance of regional Mobility within the Brazilian policy scene.
