A partnership between Brazil and Mozambique through the network of Federal Institutes - CONIF, has made possible the cooperation South-South in the area of Vocational and Technological Education involving activities such as transfer and exchange of technology and expertise in the area of agriculture. Therefore, it was proposed an initial and ongoing training of Mozambican trainers in the area of agriculture (FIC (Continuous Integrated Formation)-Mozambique) with the objective of increasing the technical expertise of the trainers from vocational and technological education institutions from Mozambique. For twenty-six days, Mozambican remained in IFMA, accompanied by teachers and technicians, to learn about techniques linked to the themes of the production systems and soils, accomplished through a FIC course offered in the month October/November 2018, face-to-face and condensed form, on the premises of the Campus São Luís-Maracana, distributed in morning and afternoon shifts, lasting initial 8 hours/day and total estimated 160 hours. Modules in didactic-pedagogical structure, production systems, covering the areas of growing vegetables, free-range chickens, pig farming, beekeeping, being carried out, agro-ecology, soils and learning methods and assessment, offered the courses: pedagogical concepts and practices, including theoretical contents and directed practical activities, in addition to visits to local production units, including the family level. In these terms, the results now obtained subsidized Mozambican teachers in conducting classes and directed practical activities, assisting the understanding and implementation of the content discussed in the classroom often visible in the dedicated effort presented in extended hours of the course, for further uses. In addition, contributed to the development of existing projects and those that will arise in Mozambique. Besides IFMA community involvement, here in Brazil, along with the Mozambican teachers, provided the exchange of existing experiences or even to overcome these common problems faced by Brazil in the development of agricultural vocational education.
