The joint meeting, 16th Brazilian Meeting of Bayesian Statistics (EBEB, in Portuguese) and VI Latin American Conference on Statistical Computing (LACSC) will be held virtually with the following objectives:

• Strengthening the scientific research in the area of Bayesian Statistics and Statistical Computing;
• Disseminating its applications in the Latin American Statistics community;
• Providing increased collaboration between researchers;
• Presenting the latest advances in the area;
• Discussing problems that may generate new lines of research;
• Providing graduate students with the experience of a scientific environment and presentation of their research work.
