Submission Guidelines

Submission Deadline: August 15, 2024.

We are pleased to invite you to submit proposals for the Special and Thematic Sessions and Minicourses of the XXI SBSR.

The Special Sessions (plenaries) are dedicated to current scientific topics with high impact and broad scope. While the Thematic Sessions address impactful scientific issues, but with a specific focus on a specific area of remote sensing. Both sessions should highlight the state of the art in their application areas. Proposals with themes that present current scientific advances and their impacts on society will be prioritized.

→ Special Session: The Special Sessions will be plenary and take place from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm (130 minutes), with the number of speakers and presentation time at the discretion of the proponent.

Information regarding the proposal must be provided directly on the platform, using the "Submit now" button.

→ Thematic Session: The Thematic Sessions take place from 8:30 am to 10:40 am (90 minutes), with the number of speakers and presentation time at the discretion of the proponent. Ideally, a session should have between three and four 20- to 30-minute talks with time for discussion.

-> Short Courses: The Short Courses are given on Sunday 04/13/2025 from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
