Abstract

Our research on organometallic complexes reveals that titanium(III) mixed-sandwich compounds function as high-performance molecular qubits, with non-bonding dz2 orbitals contributing to high spin memory times (Tm) and minimized spin-phonon coupling. Our current studies are expanding these findings to vanadium(IV) sandwich complexes to investigate enhanced redox stability and the influence of ring rotation and ring rearrangements, together with hyperfine coupling, on spin dynamics.
