Abstract

This study establishes a comprehensive structure-activity relationship for Pt(II) complexes, containing xanthone Schiff base ligands bearing imidazole, pyridine, and quinoline donor groups. By integrating crystallographic and comprehensible characterization analyses with biomolecular investigations and in vitro cytotoxicity screening, this work provides correlations between the structural features and biological activities.The results obtained offer valuable insights for the rational design of metallodrug complexes, contributing to the development of new therapeutic strategies based on bioactive coordination systems.
