Abstract

Trichoderma species produce peptaibols which are antimicrobial peptides. A new Trichoderma species endophyte found in amazon region were studied in order to assess the production of peptaibols produced by methodology One Strain Many Compounds (OSMAC). 33 peptaibols were detected as protonated molecules, most of them found in the extracts from the supplemented rice cultivation. One sequence was annotated by DEREPLICATOR+, indicative of new sequences of peptaibols.
