Abstract

This work aimed to develop a UHPLC-DAD chromatographic method for S. macrocarpa leaf extract to optimize extraction parameters for especial metabolites. The GC-MS analysis identified 20 compounds; optimized extraction: 20 mg/mL, 60% ethanol, 45 min. Resulting lyophilized extract yield: 26%. Total phenolic content: 935 μg GAE/g, flavonoid content: 196 μg QUE/g. Antioxidant activity was assessed via ABTS and DPPH assays: 0.120 and 0.158 μM Trolox/g, respectively
