Abstract

By UPLC-QToF-MS/MS analysis of FHMLBp, in the negative mode, and comparison of the fragmentation pattern with literature data, it was possible to identify nine flavonoids.
The EELBp showed promising antiradical activity (EC50 74,08±3,35 µg mL-1), when compared to the positive controls butylated hydroxytoluene - BHT (EC50 69,34±5,53 µg mL-1) and rutin (EC50 47,08±4,65 µg mL-1).
Compounds 1 and 4 are being reported for the first time in the genus Bauhinia.
