The aim of this study is to determine the bile acid and its derivative profiles of anurans from different families and correlate these profiles with their respective dietary habits. Results: LC-MS-based multivariate statistical analyses showed that diet influences variations in bile acids more than species classification. Among the various diets, 18 bile acids were shared. The diets of myrmecophagous and arthropods had distinct profiles, characterized by unique bile acids conjugated to taurine.
