Abstract

The objective of our ongoing research is to isolate and identify new compounds with antimicrobial activity from actinobacteria of a stingless bee Tetragona elongate. A total of 21 actinobacteria were isolated, identified, and tested against Paenibacillus larvae, a honey bee bacterial pathogen. The most promising strains were analyzed by LC-MS/MS analysis and Molecular Networking. Structural elucidation of the active compounds is currently in progress.
