Abstract

The Ocotea thinicola van der Werff & P.L.R. Moraes species is unpublished when it comes to its chemical profile. Furthermore, the species has its use related to the treatment of leishmania in the Três Lagoas quilombola community, at Amargosa, Bahia. In this study the crude extract on NMR showed presence of alkaloids and terpenoids. The preliminary chemical profile of this specie is necessary to evaluate the chemical profile and biological properties potential for later studies.
