Abstract

Plants, in co-evolution with insects, have developed strategies to ensure their survival by biosynthesizing insecticidal substances that can be an alternative for the development of environmentally safe larvicides against the Aedes aegypti mosquito. The objectives of the work are based on the evaluation of larvicidal activity, phytochemical profile, calculation of the LC50 and evaluation of the safety of the crude extract through the percentage of inhibition in the enzyme Acetylcholinesterase.
