The objective of this work was to characterize the crude pyroligneous extract (CE), decanted (DE) and distilled (DSE) obtained from the carbonization of Eucalyptus grandis through physicochemical analyses. The results show that the characteristics of the extract improve with purification, with DSE being the one with the best viability, suggesting an alternative for application.
