Abstract

The aim of this work was to determine the total phenolic compounds in the ethanolic extract of the pulp and the peel of Syzygium malaccense, and measure the potential antioxidant, using techniques in microplate reader and in high performance liquid-chromatography. As results, both of them have phenolic compounds and showed scavenging activity against ABTS•+, which was way higher in the peel.
