Abstract

Corals of the genus Tubastraea are known as ‘sun corals’ and are distributed along the Brazilian coast, due to the bioinvasion process.
An HPLC/DAD method was developed for fingerprint analysis of Tubastraea extracts;
The chromatographic profile showed three major compounds, with UV spectrum characteristic of aplisinopsin alkaloids.
