Exploratory Study of Endemic Catingue Tree Seeds: a Review

The objective of this work was to make an exploratory study of articles involving research with Cenostigma seeds. The selection of articles was based on some inclusion criteria. Out of a total of 216 articles, 24 met all the inclusion criteria. It is noted that there is still much to be explored regarding the phytochemical potential associated with the seeds of these species, aiming at the isolation of biomolecules of pharmacological interest and with biotechnological potential.
